A Love Back

QUESTION: I broke up with my boyfriend almost 6 months, but I really miss him and want him come back to me. He is a good person. He is really important to me. I pray to God but he does not receive my prayers yet. I hope God will hear my prayer and know how I am hurt.

Did God will help me with this problem? Will God bring him back to me?

ANSWER: God answers all our prayers. It is said that He answers prayers in 3 ways: Yes, No, or Not Yet. It is the same as when we are dealing with children. Many times, parents have to say NO to their children when they know that what the children are asking for are not good for them. We will not buy our 10 year old son a car even if he cries and pleads and ask for his own car - simply because we know, as parents, that it is not yet time.

It is the same thing with our prayers. Sometimes God says YES, sometimes He says NO, sometimes He says NOT YET. Whatever the case, trust that whatever happens, it is for your own good. If you pray to God and entrust to Him your situation or problem, He will answer you in a way that will be the best for you. In the end, our prayer has to always be "Your will be done, Lord". Trust in the Lord! He will never leave your side.
