This devotion to the Sacred Heart is a last effort of His love which wishes to favor men in these last times with this loving redemption, in order to withdraw them from the empire of Satan, which He intends to destroy, and in order to put us under the sweet empire of His love. This He would establish in the hearts of all those who would embrace this devotion.

Write this: before I come as the Just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort:

All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the Saviour were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day. (paragraph 83)

You will prepare the world for My final coming. (paragraph 429)

Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy; let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them. (paragraph 848)

Souls perish in spite of My bitter Passion. I am giving them the last hope of salvation; that is, the Feast of My Mercy. If they will not adore My mercy, they will perish for all eternity.

Secretary of My Mercy, write, tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice, is near. (paragraph 965)

In the old Covenant I sent prophets wielding thunderbolts to My people. Today, I am sending you with My mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My merciful Heart. I use punishment when they themselves force Me to do so; My hand is reluctant to take hold of the sword of justice. Before the day of justice I am sending the Day of Mercy. (paragraph 1588)

I bear a special love for Poland, and if she will be obedient to My will, I will exalt her in might and holiness. From her will come forth the spark that will prepare the world for My final coming. (paragraph 1732)

I was chosen by the Most Holy Trinity to become the Mother of the Second Advent, and thus my motherly task is that of preparing the Church and all humanity to receive Jesus, who is returning to you in glory. This second coming of his will take place in the light of his divinity, because Jesus will return to you on the clouds of heaven, in the splendor of his royalty…

Open your hearts to hope. The second coming of Christ is near at hand. The signs that He himself has given you, to prepare yourselves to receive Him, in these times of yours, are all at the point of being realized.

Open your hearts to hope. Live in peace of heart and in prayer. Live in faith and in joy. Live in grace and in purity. Live in love and in holiness. Because Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, our Saviour and our King, is about to come to you in the splendor of his glorified Body. (438; December 8, 1990)
