Will god send me to hell if i smoke marijuana.

QUESTION:I have been smoking for a while now and i just want to know is it really bad? i only smoke once a week and i believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins

ANSWER: Dear Pablo, even if you take drugs infrequently at this stage, experience shows that you will eventually become more and more dependent on it, to the point that it destroys your life. Many of the worst crimes in history have been done by people under the influence of drugs.

Yes, Jesus died on the cross for your sins - but you will have to do your part and avoid making decisions that will destroy your life and lead you to commit greater sins in the future.

People think that just because you smoke weed, that it will lead to other drug's. I do NOT believe that what so ever. I have seen many, many people that smoke weed either for medical or recreational and it has never let to being a herion addict or a crack head. I myself ONLY smoke weed, for over 15 plus year's and I've never went to harder drug's. In 2017 there are over 20 plus states that have legalized marijuana for recreational and medical, and some states just for medical purposes only.

I grew up in church for over 20 plus year's. My grandfather owned his own church, my Uncle does and is a pastor, and also my father. I know a good but about the bible, I'm not perfect in any aspect, but I believe God will NOT send me to help for smoking marijuana. I read my bible, I pray all the time, I 100% believe God died for my sins. I try to live right, and treat my "neighbors" with respect and love. I'm not perfect by no means, but I feel if God came back right now, I would go to Heaven. There are way way way more thing's to go to hell for, 1st try the commandments, then read the bible, look at the news!! If your heart is right, and you believe God died for your sins, and ask for forgiveness, I believe you would go to Heaven.

Now, murderers, adulterers, thieves, liars, Taking God's name in vein, and as you know, a few more on the list.

Taking drugs for long time may harm family life, health and social relations significantly. One of my brother used to take drugs in high doses and he died with drug related complications. I advise you to join a drug rehabilitation center and get proper treatment at the earliest.
